Losing weight is hard
Maintaining weight is hard
Being fat is hard
Pick your hard

I went from 280lbs to 190lbs 6 years ago and maintained my weight for that 6 year period. I am here to smoke the last 20-30lbs.

There is no easy miracle to losing weight, it is hard work. You have to eat less and exercise more than you ever thought possible, but the results are priceless. You have to change your whole relationship with food; you have to change your whole perspective on life. You can’t lose 100lbs just to go back to eating the garbage that made you fat in the first place. The idea of eating whatever you want and still losing weight is a bunch of bull; donut holes never did a thing for you except give you a dimply backside, and if you are relying on chips and candy bars to make you happy then you have much bigger problems than just weight loss.

For the past 6 years I have had to watch what I eat most every day. I have had to train my brain to think differently about food and make better choices for my body. I have had to cut out entire types of food and learned to like food that I was not crazy about in the past. It has been hard. It is hard to watch my coworkers eat a heart attack on a stick while they look down their nose at me eating hummus and pita bread, but it is great to wake up in the morning feeling like a million bucks, feeling the strength in my muscles as I dance naked around my house and then slinking into my skinny clothes that show off my flat belly. I feel much better than I did 6 years ago when I ate whatever I felt like and had a hard time breathing, couldn’t fit into a movie seat, and couldn’t walk anywhere without feeling like I was going to die.

Success is not about what you are willing to do but what you are willing to give up. Are you ready to give up that double chocolate cherry cake and instead eat some carrot sticks?
