I'm an Oregon gal who likes to travel and I have a passion for learning about exercise and nutrition. I'm obsessed with Zumba and any other fitness classes. Currently living in Shanghai, China. I love to socialize with my friends. I am very busy but I have made time to start an exercise program after 11 months of not exercising. November 2008 I started my weightloss journey, beginning at 223.8 lbs and now at 162.8. I have mostly maintained this weight for the last year and a half (a little yo-yoing but not more than 10-15 pounds) My goal is to weigh between 145 and 150.

2nd Short term goal and by when: 155 by January 17th 2012

3rd short term goal and by when: 150 by February 27th 2012

To participate in a group-X type workout class 4 days per week

Strength train at least 2 days per week

Don't eat any gluten! It's bothering my stomach again...

My Program:
I am currently trying to limit my gluten and coffee exposure due to Chronic Erosive Gastritis and Gluten Intolerance.
My diet includes almost anything except for fast food, bread, pasta, soda and milk. I eat lots of vegetables, fruits, some rice (not a lot), plain yogurts, lean meats, beans, nuts, clear soups etc. I try not to eat anything processed that comes in a package.

I'm an Oregon girl currently living abroad in Shanghai, China. Been here since Jan 15th 2011. I plan to return for good next September (2012) to finish school (BA in Applied Linguistics).

    Hi! I've only been gluten-free for about a year, but my favorite foods are fruits, veggies, beans, nuts and nut butters, and I especially like gluten-free oats, quinoa, and millet. Although I don't really eat any bread related items anymore, I do enjoy experimenting with new recipes!

    I fluctuate with my weight too, I think I'm technically at 97 pounds lost right now instead of 100, but it's all in a healthy lifestyle. :)
