65 year old sexy senior still working on improving my body and health. It has been said many times that age is just a number and that is so true and I will not let that number define me and my lifestyle. You see my mind doesn't know that my body has 64 years of wear and tear and I plan to keep it a secret as long as possible.



That is what my husband of 26 years tells me all the time and remember I am 64 years biologically and 30 years in spirit and soul!! Do you know what it feels like to have the man you have been married to for 26 years to tell you that????? AWESOME feeling for me. We have a vibrant sex life, we are best friends, we laugh together, we cry together but most of all we love together. I want every woman alive to have what I have but it takes effort on your part to stay a woman of "SURPRISE & INTRIGUE", never stop living and loving, never take things too seriously, never stop talking to each other, never give up on making your relationship work. Be open and honest with each other, touch each other, smiles and kisses bring magic and sunshine into a dull grey day....take my is free and it has been it is proven.


That seems to have been my mantra for a long time now. I have spent tooooooo much time reading about proper eating, proper nutrition, physical activity, physical exercises, etc.......reading but no action involved.

Reading is absolutely necessary for knowledge and I am a diehard advocate for knowledge....can never have too much.....can never get too much....never get too old for knowledge. But in this case of reading for knowledge about diet and exercise to HELP ME lose weight and live a healthier lifestyle......reading is not nearly enough as I have to put this KNOWLEDGE into ACTION!!

I think I have finally gotten this as well. Yesterday I walked a total of 58 minutes, no flat land walking involved as this walk was all about hills...up and down...we are current residents of McKinney Corp of Engineers Campground on a mountain in North Georgia....grant it, it is not Grandfather Mountain, however, it is a mountain and the walking is up and down. I got a fantastic workout.

My goal is to continue trying to get a walk in everyday. I know that I won't be able to walk EVERY day, however, I can seize the opportunity every chance I get.


4-13-09 FINALLY, I think I have reached a point in this healing journey that I can say "I GET IT". I have said it, however, didn't fully comprehend the fact that this is a "lifestyle change". It is not a one time fix it situation meaning I can eat right and exercise for a few weeks, get in great shape, then return to where I am today. My new motto is "Let's just move on".

Moving on is exactly what I am doing...moving on with healthy eating, moving on with daily physical activity, moving on in my attitude, moving on in my goals....I am just moving on.

I haven't corrected my weight as it is currently posted because it seemed like for so long I was constantly changing it....sorta like a see-saw....up and down....up and down. Currently, I weight 8 pounds less than what is posted, however, yesterday I was 9 pounds less but one day made a 1 pound up turn....tomorrow it will go the other way...I plan to have a day that will drive it DOWN!

Acceptance of myself, my current overall physical weight and physical fitness as well as the acceptance that I have got to work at and stay committed for the rest of my life to eating healthy and staying physically active to be able to reach my weight goal and maintain it as well. "LET'S JUST MOVE ON"

My Goals:
1) To be healthy and fit. To be the sexiest 65 year old ever!!
2) To live a lifestyle of health and fitness so that others will be inspired by good health.
3) To remain physically active.
4) To promote healthy eating and exercise to other Senior citizens.
5) To lose this 23 pounds that has been excess baggage too long.

My Program:
To eat healthy foods each day. Foods taken from the food pyramid. Lots of vegetables, fruits and grains. Drink at least 64 ounces of WATER every day. Walk for a minimum of 30 minutes 4 days a week. Work out with dumbells, Jack LaLane stepper and do calithestics 3 days a week.

Personal Information:
My husband and I are full time RV'ers. We sold everything we had and bought our 35' with 2 slideout Allegro motorhome. Currently we are doing a Park Attendant Contract (4th contract) job for the USACE on Lake Allatoona north of Atlanta. We previously did volunteer campground hosting for Georgia State Parks. We have hosted at Skidaway Island State Park in Savannah, Stephen C. Foster State Park in Fargo (Okefenokee Swamp) and FDR State Park in Pine Mountain. From the coast to the swamp to the mountains.

We love what we do and would not go back to a stick house unless our health forced us to make that choice.

Most all our days are spent outside in nature. I have the most elegant workout gym....outdoors.

I am not a materialistic person. Love, life, happiness, friends, family and sharing myself with others is my prized possessions. I lay up my treasures in Heaven.

Other Information:
I am a born again Christian and God has blessed me in so many ways.

I love to read especially non-fiction Christian books. I have a small collection of bibles that is very precious to me.

I love my laptop computer and spend a lot of time on it. I also do Bible studies on line.

My favorite color is PURPLE.
