I am 30 years old and an office manager. I spend to much time sitting around at the computer and reading books when I get home. I lost 15 lbs 2 years ago and now I've gained it all back and more. I am very thankful that there is a Christian group already started on this site. May God bless all the effort I can give towards my goal.


2/12/10 Learning alot of great tips from this site. I am staying accountable with the nutrition tracker and feeling guilty if I haven't exercised for the day.

2/22/10 Trying to increase my protein intake without going over my suggested calorie intake. I am not liking the new scale given to me as a "kick-off" gift. It shows only a 1 pound loss.


3/12/10 March is upon me, I will try to read blog enteries once a day. I am rejoicing in my 214.6 pounds. It doesn't look far on the ticker, but it has been steady. For me that's encouragement!

9/12/2010 Okay, I must ask all my friends to help reignite the spark in me. My last entry was 4/21/2010. I have not kept up with Curves since June/July. The intense Summer heat smacked me in the face and I quit walking and working out. Just a few days ago I started the walking, but haven't gotten back into a daily routine.
I weighed in tonight at 216.5. I am encouraged that this is not over my starting weight of 220. Now If I can just get it off and go further this time.

I am wanting to get off the up hill weight climb. 20 lbs in one year is too much. I want to get back into the bridesmaid's dress I wore at my sister's wedding 10 years ago. I was at 150 lbs. My starting goal is 170.
