Mother, grandmother of 6 boys , doglover, catlover, and unfortunately foodlover. Looking for help to be skinny sometime in the future. Greatest discovery for this trip is the Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds video. So easy to just walk for 20 minutes. Her music really stinks, though--I wouldn't even call it music, so I turn the sound off on the TV and play my own music on my stereo. I can really make the time fly with Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, and Stevie Wonder. Those weighted balls that Leslie uses in her video are also a joke--I kept dropping them on my foot. I picked up some little handweights to use instead. Favorite diet snacks are apples, carrots, and pickles. And I think the perfect food has got to be a banana, if one cannot count German Chocolate Cake. I plan to reward myself everytime I can go a week without falling off the wagon. Dinner in a restaurant and anything goes. Yippee! My husband bought me a bicycle for my 60th birthday. What a game changer! I checked The Daniel Plan out of the library. Love the idea of a balanced life and depending on God instead of myself. I have ordered my own copy plus the cookbook. Starting today, I'm going to put this plan into action. A neighbor gave me his elliptical machine in exchange for caring for his dying dog 😢. Next to biking the New River Trail, this is now my favorite way to exercise.

My Goals:
My goal is to be able to hike five miles up a mountain without having a heart attack and rolling back down the trail.

I would also like to find out who that guy in the cowboy hat is who has his picture listed under my friends.

My Program:
1300-1500 calories a day.
Leslie Sansone's Walk Away The Pounds 2 mile Walk video 5 days per week with simple tiny weights.

Personal Information:
I grew up in the mountains and now I live on top of a different mountain. Just gotta love mountains. They get into your blood and under your skin. Whenever I have lived away from mountains, I have always felt like an orphan. Mountains mean home.

    Well, I appreciate your joining the website to be my support person, but think how inspiring it will be for people to see your skinny picture. I have to tell them that you run every day and train with weights and believe in the power of exercise to get people burning fat. Maybe your picture will be the reason that somebody goes for a walk, dances to disco music, or picks up a set of free weights.
