Introduction Text 12/27/2017 I’m enjoying life and the journey started so long ago. I’m 168 now but went back up to 240+ again because I didn’t find ME in the first trip... this time is all ME! Want to drop another 5-10 and continue to maintain. Updated 9/22/2009 Winning the battle of maintaining! Who would have thought that once at your goal the real battle would begin. What a journey! The 5 pound window is no longer the barrier to the outside, it is now the looking glass into wonderland! Everytime I come back to the low side of my 5 pound window, I learn more and more that my tools learned are allowing me to control my weight. Thank you Sparks! I will never go back to the old me- EVER. Updated 6/5/2009 I DID IT! I made my goal. 15 months with Sparks and 86 pounds gone with Sparks. AND, I am now a MOTIVATOR! Grab life at every chance and be the wind beneath your own wings. Be strong and ALWAYS BELIEVE! Updated 3/17/09 - A year ago I took up the challenge to join Sparks! At first, it was just another gimic, in my mind. But it isn't a gimic, it is a life saving tool that allowed me to LEARN to be healthy, LEARN to trust myself, LEARN how to lose weight, LEARN to LIVE! I want to be healthy, live long and love to the fullest I am healthier at the age of 43 then I have ever been in my life. What a wonderful life I live. Nov 2008 Update: Just turned 43, and, I am the healthier and smaller than I have been. I have been a size 18-22 for most of my adult life, even bigger but didn't wear anything with a size, just stretched out XXL stuff. I am now a size 6. I just celebrated 8 months here with Sparks! I Live, I won!

I would like to be healthy, live a balanced life and teach my children to have good self esteem and appropriate nutrition. Oh, and to be 144 pounds, wear size 6 and win the lottery! I will be 3 for 3!

I am using the nutrition tracking and consistent excersize as my main focus for my program.

I am from Cotati California, mother of 2, happily married to my best friend of 20+ years.

I am truthful, direct and loyal. I am a bit black and white in things so I am looking to find more balance, the gray areas, in life.
