    Hi Tammy. We'll get through this...it will take time and you will be amazed how in a few months, how very much of you will change for the better. Keep taking your steps and the important thing to remember is the set backs to old behaviors with happen...it's what you do with it when it occurs that will make you successful. Keep getting up and stay consistent as you can. It's a lifestyle change and in the this course of time, you will make a difference not only for yourself, but also your children. How great is that!

    Okay, wanted to share I made a low calorie version of chocolate chip cookies tonight. I used 30% soy flour for every cup of flour, I used egg substitute product, and I did use splenda brown sugar substitute (maybe not soooo clean but it is a lot less in calories.) The batter tasted very different, my 17 yr old son hated it. And even I could notice the difference in the batter. Once baked though, it turned out fine. My husband liked it, my daughter did, my 17 yr old's girlfriend who has very discriminating taste liked it, and I did too. I haven't figured out the calories in a cookie yet so I need to to do this. It's not often I make cookies because I will eat them....but every now and then I will have them.
