Hello there! I may be new to this website but I am not new to being overweight. I have been overweight since the age of 9. This year I am coming up on my 47th birthday and I know that 50 is around the block. I desire to be healthier and thinner at 50 than in all my years prior. I have more than 150 lbs. to loose. With God's help, my family, lots of prayers and Sparkpeople I believe I will do it....once in for all!!

I have exercised faithfully since September 08 averaging about four times per week. After 16 months...I gained three pounds but pretty much ate what I wanted because I used the exercise as a crutch to eat, if that makes sense. The exercise though has truly become a part of my life and I am now ready to tackle the nutrition part. It truly is a transformation that begins with small steps.

I then stumbled across Sparkpeople on January 5, 2010 and said this is the answer to my prayers! I have used Sparkpeople for a month now and I love it!

My Goals:
To keep up with exercising no matter what!

My Program:
Making healthy choices!

Counting calories everyday.

Eat a high fiber/high protein breakfast.

Drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day.

Doing cardio workout 5 times per week and strength training 2-3 times per week.

Personal Information:
I love the Lord with all my heart and desire that all would know Him too!

I live in Vancouver, Washington with my wonderful husband and 2 awesome kids!

Other Information:
Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Emma and Cranford are some of my favorite movies.

I love traveling with my family and seeing new places.
