Hi, my name is Carolynn and I am a mother of 4 children, three girls and one boy. I have always struggled with my weight and self-esteem since I can remember. I always thought I was overweight and throughout my lifetime have lost weight in a very unhealthy way.

Previous to 2009, I was a yo-yo. My weight had ballooned up to 230 lbs and I was depressed. I got pregnant in 2009 and only gained 25lbs throughout the pregnancy with little extra weight post pregnancy. It's been increasingly more difficult to stick to my guns and lose this weight. I have done it in the past and would like to fit into my clothes again. I would love to gain more balance and get back some of the energy I have lost.

My biggest struggle now is balancing proper exercise, nutrition, family, graduate studies, internship...etc. I just don't feel well and I know losing weight will help me feel better. So I embark on another attempt to do just that.

My Goals:
I would like to lose at least 1 lb per week. I am confident that my focus should be on increasing exercise and making better food choices. Small steps for me work best.

My Program:
Right now I am watching very carefully what I eat. I am not always driven by caution and do dive into the occasional junk food hole. I am drinking more water and walking, swimming and playing on my wii when I can. I have just started these changes in the past week. We''ll see how it goes.

Other Information:
I love to go for walks, I am an amateur photographer. I love quilting and sewing as they are ways I like to relax as well as scrap booking.
