Introduction Text "I'm 60 years old and don't want to spend the rest of my life overweight & tired! So...I am on a quest to drop some pounds and gain some energy." That is how I introduced myself 3 1/2 years ago. Since then I have been through numerous ups & downs, successes & failures. I have learned that perfect consistency is a pipe dream. When I fall (and I will) I just need to pick myself up and keep going. So, I'm making yet another new start. I won't look for perfection in myself, but neither will I give up!

* To lose 40 pounds by March 2017 * To have enough energy to keep up with my grandchildren!

I try to eat healthy, real food and to watch my portions. I'm slowly increasing my amount of cardio and strength training. I look for fun, seasonal activities, such as swimming, raking leaves, ice skating and cross country skiing.

I have a wonderful husband, three great sons, two beautiful daughters in law, and the SIX best grandkids on the planet! I love to read, do puzzles, crochet, cook, play flute, grow things, and soak in the beauty of the lake.
