Pink is my favorite color!
My finisher's medal for the 2010 Honolulu marathon! I finished in 7 hours, 13 minutes.
Sept 2009. I had lost about 12 pounds (altho I gained some back soon afterward) from the year before

Camy Tang/Camille Elliot
I am a novelist writing Christian romantic suspense and also Regency romance under my pen name, Camille Elliot.
I am also an avid knitter, I've picked up spinning wool into my own yarn, and I have been working with my church youth group for 15 years. I lead one of the worship teams at my church and lead worship for youth group meetings.

In 2010, I discovered the Jeff Galloway Run-Walk-Run method and now I absolutely LOVE running! I mildly enjoyed running before finding this method, but now I am passionate about it. I was so inspired that I trained and completed the Honolulu Marathon in December 2010! Woohoo!
I have had two knee surgeries and so I have been careful about any exercise I do. With Jeff's method, I've been able to run without pain or injury, even on my long runs.
After running the marathon, I let work stress get to me and went back to bad eating habits, such as snacking while working, and I also haven't been as consistent on my running. I developed a bit of plantar fasciitis, and I also have a nagging ankle injury from the marathon, but visits to the chiropractor seem to help.
I hope to lose weight in 2017 and run the Honolulu Marathon again in December. To do that, I'm following the Jeff Galloway marathon running program and I'm taking care of my injured ankle with gentle daily massage, Phiten wraps, and chiropractic visits.
I also want to train my body to eat within my calorie and nutrition range here on SP.

Adhering to my marathon running program, with runs 3 times a week
