Getting out in Nature on a regular basis no matter what the circumstances ...

Eat Clean 80 - 90 %, whole foods.

Drink atleast 8 glasses of water daily.

Exercise/walk more regularly either outdoors or indoor.

Be patient with myself and my community with regards to healthy, employment and events.

Be respectful, loving, positive, supportive & inspirational to me and others.

To keep doing my best with my abilities at the moment.

Lose the weight slowly but continually and keep it off.

Be the best that I can be for me, my partner, my family and friends.

My Program:
Daily exercise either treadmill or walking.

Personal Information:
I was born in Vancouver, but have lived everywhere from BC to Ontario to New Brunswick. Finally I have moved back to BC, and will probably retire here. The warmer and drier air does help somewhat with the chronic pain. This is my home province, and we do enjoy our new life here in the Okanagan.

    I've been feeling pretty down the last couple of days so I decided I needed to look into some inspirational quotes to share regarding hope. The first one is by Christopher Reeve:

    "Once you choose hope, anything's possible."

    Then I saw one by Dale Carnegie:

    “Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all."

    These both spoke to me loudly so I thought I would share them with my emoticon and hope they spoke to you just as loudly.

    Happy Saturday my friend. It was beautiful, sunny and warm here today also. I never got too much done, but I think hubby may be feeling just minutely better and I got him to get a massage today so I am hopeful that will help some also. I didn't get my walk in, but I did get in 30 minutes of upper body strength while he was getting his massage so I am okay with that. Have an enjoyable Sunday!
