You can be your own Best Friend or Worst Enemy, so which one is it going to be?


I have become a living example of the fun saying that "STRESSED" is just Desserts spelled backwards! I am a Sandwich Generation and lately have been putting myself last taking care of everyone else. Aside from being a wife and mother, I have an awesome career as a fashion designer's sales rep, with a fun perk of wearing all the designers clothes in the collection....but because of the extra inches I've added fewer items are available in my size range. Fitness Minutes: 10,492

My Goals:
To improve my overall health, regain my stamina and muscle tone. Dropping down 4 dress sizes is my goal.

My Program:
 Some people are addicted to Coffee or Smoking...I'm addicted to sweets; chocolate in particular. I plan to cut out the sweets, follow the meal plan and up the excercise to include weights.


Personal Information:
Married for 27+ years, I'm a naturalized Texan, Mother of one beautiful daughter, I am a CBS Children's Teacher, Certified Image Consultant, and former State Certified Volunteer Firefighter (those were my "Buff" years!). I enjoy cooking, reading, drawing, listening to all types of music, photography, scrapbooking, traveling and watching Volleyball.

    It was so great to hear from you. I've been missing you. How funny that you saw my twin. Once I saw someone pumping gas that I thought looked like me and I started to say something but I was afraid she would be insulted! lol

    I've been stuck in a rut since Christmas but I'm serious about this now! We can do it!

    Thank you so much for thinking of me. I am so sad my Dad is gone. There are many things I would do differently. I wish I could go back in time. I know he is in a better place now but I miss him. It's a great lesson for not waiting until tomorrow because you don't know if there will be a tomorrow. I intend to start living the best life I know how to as I know he will be watching over me. Your kindness has meant so much to me.

    Anne, that made me laugh out loud!! No, I was not being chased by a dog. I was actually on the treadmill at the gym. I'm telling you what, so many people say this, but seriously...if I can run anyone can run!! My husband said to me the other day, "Good job! I couldn't do that!" My response was, "You could in 5 months."

    I got inspired by a social networking group on Facebook called the Smokin' Hot Mama Club. I went to high school with the gal that started it but it's now almost 7000 members and international in scope. www.smokinhotmamaclub.com You should check it out. Great motivation! Anyway, I gotta go back to work.

    I'm going to time my mile tonight. Funny, 5 months ago I wouldn't have been able to run more than 2 minutes or so at a time. Now I'll run it all. Yay me!
