I am so blessed, lucky, born under the right star, privileged or whatever you want to call it. I love my life. Health is Wealth and I want to be rich in health for a very very long time.

I am a small vegetable farmer in central iowa. yeah! All the free tasty organic vegetables I want! But a fat farmer?! What’s that all about? I am losing weight for my self, my career, my husband and my future kids. With SP I want to watch my portions, move my body this winter and Spread the Spark!

When I turned 19 I weighed 230 pounds and just had a mini break down. I didn't want to be held back by my body any longer. So I went to Weight Watchers with my mom (great buddy) and over 2 years I lost 80 pounds. I did it all on the CORE program. I heart CORE!

Then I met the man of my dreams and we got married and one late night snack after another adds up. Now I am back were I started. I am lucky learned so much about healthy food those ww years and my career even reflects that. I guess this is the part where I just keep standing up from my falls until I stay standing on solid ground. I Can DO THIS! We can do it together! Spark On friends!

    Thanks so much for your comment on my blog page re: tennis.
    I've been playing since I was a teenager, and now that I'm getting in shape, I'm hitting the courts at least once per week (even if it's just to practice my serve and shots).

    I'm going to be joining a women's league this spring.

    I just love the movement, hitting the ball, the strategy. I hope to be playing in my 90's, so I've got a few decades to get myself in shape!

    Not snacking at night while watching movies with my husband is especially hard for me too!

    I found No S when I first started on Spark, so I've been with that team for close to 2 years. I've never managed to get very far with it though. I love the idea of it, but it's harder for me than it looks. Anyway, I keep trying, mostly because I really like a lot of the people on that team. :-)
