Ha! Maybe I'M CHEATING! I am considering my 10% goals as 10% of the weight I want to lose. So, 10% of 100 lbs is 10 lbs. If I did 10% of my weight that would be 23 lbs. Much better (and rewarding) for me to consider how much I want to lose, and chop it up into 10 pieces. Just like a pizza. How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. How do I lose weight? One lbs at a time, one 10% of 100 lbs at a time! So, maybe I'm not thinking of it quite the way others here do, but I am loving it anyway!

Thanks for your comment on my page. It looks like you are doing well. How long have you been with the Sparkpeople? I had lost 28 lbs with Bob Greene's Best Life Diet but got unhappy with the vegetarian meals. They were few and far between. 4946 days ago

Thanks for the comments Brenda..I am in Colorado also:) The only thing I know about the flab to fit thing is high reps, low weight and eventually it will start to tone.:) I am working thru my flabby stuff right now but I know it will take a while. If you make strength training a weekly thing at least hree days a week it will start to pay off. Congrats on your loss and getting under 200...I met anotheron lady on spark who started off in the mid 200s who is a beautiful 180 right now so with patience and dedication it works...best of luck to you.:) Amy 4946 days ago
