I was thin. I was then fat. I am now morbidly obese. Unfortunately, my mind continues to think that I am thin and I run into things a lot.
I would like to be able to see my toes again without reaching over the giant load I call a tummy. I love shoes. I'd like to be able to admire them once in a while.
I find myself witty and intelligent. I also find that my IQ points must have dwindled as my weight increased. At least that's how people treat me now.
So...I'd like to be able to be comfortable in my body, see cute shoes on my feet and be smart to other people again. Is that too much to ask?

My Goals:
I want to be comfortable in my own skin. I want to be able to talk and walk at the same time. i want to be able to buy clothes that don't have an "X" after them. And I want to be able to smile everyday because I am happy with who I am.

My Program:
I am not eating any junk food or drinking any soda. So far I haven't gone over 700 calories. I'm trying to eat 1300-1500 a day. It's harder to eat good things than you'd think. I'm also trying to walk everyday.

Personal Information:
I've joined a few teams and you can be my spark friend. I'm not sure how far this will go. I ordered THE SPARK book. Let's go ALL IN!! I have a wonderful wife-yes, I'm gay. And 2 wonderful grown kids. One of each. And a terrific grandson. sigh, 2 dogs, 1 cat and a bird. A full and happy life. And a big ...LOL.

Other Information:
I love all kinds of books, and I love to quilt. I watch too much TV but you would too if your TV took up most of your living room. LOL.
I listen to the most outrageous stuff on my MP3 when I walk and I wear old jammy tops with old sweat pants. I'm a real mess to watch. But never boring I've been told.
