"I can eat that cookie because I know how to burn it off!" - that is a quote by my boxing & boot camp teacher. She is the most kick ass instructor I have ever had and she tells it lik e it is. My passing my ACE exam and being hired as a personal trainer, I know how to do just that. It's everything in moderation, but when I do go overboard at least I know how to burn it off and get back on track.

I am getting married in April 2009 and I want to be healthy once again. I have been active in the swimming arena, but have not had the motivation to continue with that now that I am in the "Real world." I want to be a buff bride for my wedding and just look good. I am also trying to chaneg my lifestyle so that I am continuing to eat healthy and exercise.

"All your life you are told the things you cannot do. All your life they will say you're not good enough or strong enough or talented enough; they will say you're the wrong height or the wrong weight or the wrong type to play this or be this or achieve this. They will tell you NO, a thousand times no, until all the no's become meaningless. All your life they will tell you no, quite firmly and very quickly.
And you will tell them YES." - Nike

I love this quote...found it on somebody's page. I don't remember who so I'm sorry that i took it without asking :-) This is my mantra in the current time. I absolutely LOVE going to the gym and working out and am finally pursuing my studies to become a personal trainer. I am scared and excited at the same time! This is helping me fully embrace a healthy lifestyle and becoming the person that I truly want to be.

My Goals:
I would like to drop between 5 - 10 pounds before the wedding. I am not too overweight, but want to tone up mostly.

My Program:
Boxing - 2-3x week

Boot Camp - 1 x week

Cardio - 2 x weel

I am completely hooked on boxing at the moment. I go to class 2 - 3x week depending on my schedule. It is also a circuit training class so I get plenty of strength work in.

I am a 25 year old from NJ...even though my heart wants to move to Hawaii!! I LOVE that place!!

Other Information:
I enjoy exercising; however, many days i find I don't have that much time. I also enjoy reading, watching tv, going to the movies, going to the beach now that it's summertime!!

Thanks for the comment on my blog. The Accord is definitely on the short list. I'm going to test drive some cars this weekend.

Congratulations on your progress! You look great :-)
Where are you from in Jersey? I'm originally from Freehold, but now live near Hoboken.

Is it possible to do bicycle crunches CORRECTLY for 20 minutes? OUCH! I hope your training with the new client goes well. You're right, most of it is just educating the clients and retraining what they believe they should do. You're an AWESOME trainer!

I used a template. I'll have to look through my notes to see if I still have it. But writing business plans are pretty simple, I learned it in school for my marketing degree. Anyway, one is not really necessary unless you're trying to get a bank loan, find partners or do other big-time business. Mine's just help me detail out how I want my business to be structured, my target market and the financial aspect of it.

Hey Girl! well I've done both and I gotta say I'm a true blue Chalean Extreme girl. I'm on my 2nd 90 day round of it and I just love the program. Don't get me wrong I LOVE p90x, but they are much longer work outs, and it requires you to dedicate 1 hour to 1 hour and 20 mins a day to your work and as with ChaLean Extreme you dedicate between 35-50 mins a day and feel equally as tired after works. Plus Chalean extreme is what helped me finally get from the size 6 jeans i was stuck at for months to the 4's I've had as my goal since I was a since 16. You can check it the program on my webpage:

my blog is on there too :)
