Still working on trying to lose and keep off those last 20 pounds. I've been buying clothes at Goodwill and Salvation Army as I go down in sizes. When I get to goal and seem able to stay there, I want to go shopping for a few new clothing items at the mall in Erie.

I didn't make it to my goal weight last year, but still did well. Had some setbacks in December due to the holidays, but I'm back on track now and am excited that I only have 15-20 pounds left to lose to get to my goal. Might sound like a lot to some people, but it's so doable considering that I've already lost 80-85 pounds. Just keep on trying and I'll get there!

I finished working the grant position and am back in retirement now. Don't know if I like being retired or not. Might look for something else part time in a few months. Maybe a Christmas help job at the mall?
It's easier to concentrate on my exercise and eating plans now so I am working on getting to my goal weight before Christmas. I'm thinking 135-145 lbs might be good. Not sure yet.

Lost 80 pounds now....can hardly believe it! Feeling fantastic. More energy. Went back to work for 4 months to finish grant position. Back to world of work stress big time. Fighting the urge to binge every day, but so far, so good. Need to concentrate on my goals and success. Hang in there until June 30 when I can go back to retirement.

UPDATE--It's been over two years since I started this journey. I am now 59 years old and was able to retire in July of 2010. Best of all...I've lost 65 pounds and feel fantastic!!!:) I want to lose somewhere between 10 and 30 more pounds. Just taking it one day at a time and see how things progress.

Hi! I'll soon be 57 years old and am hoping to retire in 3 years. My goal is to be healthier and thinner when I retire than I am now. That means I've got a lot of work to do between now and then, but it definately is attainable. I will begin with small steps and hopefully change my lifestyle so that it is healthy....eating healthy foods, exercising, relaxing, finding spiritual peace.
