Hey Sparks Gang,
I have always been active in sports. I am a fan of UFC fighting and have spent the better part of my life in the gym lifting and doing some sort of cardio. . Several years ago I was involved in an accident that kept me out of the gym for a couple of years I have gained 25-30 lbs. I would like to get back down to my fighting weight of around 220lbs. I would love to have my waist back again. I have changed my eating habits and cut out my favorite sweets and coke. I have also tried to maintain a healthier lifestyle and upped my cardio. It works and I have lost some weight. I love hiking/jogging and live near the Blue Hills. It is a small mountain but it does have some great hiking/jogging trails and rock walls. I have met some great people on here . So, I'm here with you all for a common purpose to lose weight and make some better health choices.

My Goals:
My goal is 225lbs by March 17th 2010!
Increase my lifts in the gym

Long term I would like to get down to 220lbs and a 34" waist


My Program:
change my diet reducing my sweets and coke and work out weight training 4x a week

Alternate jogging 1hour/ellipticall 1hour for a total of 5x a week.
reduce my calories to 1500 a day.
More fruit/veggies and protein.
I will add high rep weight training (chest, back, arms) when I get closer to my goal weight.
Trying to crunch every day min of 100




Personal Information:
Father of three boys 22,21, 18. Enjoy my trail hikes, ocean, outdoors, photography, writing, and speed. Like motorcycles and fast cars.
Like boxing, martial arts and heavy bag workouts



Other Information:
There are four basic food groups,
milk chocolate,
dark chocolate,
white chocolate,
and
chocolate truffles.

    Thanks for stopping by, darlin', with a sweet comment on our picture. Sounds like you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. My son's girlfriend just sent me a Smilebox card that said she "loved that we had more sweets than turkey!" We had too much of everything and it was sooooo worth it. Now I'll pay, like you, till Christmas Eve when I'll do it all over again. lol. My tradition, ya know........is to gain 10 lose 10...works for me. That beats keep going up up up, right?
