My Goals:
I'm looking to create slow, steady changes in my life that alter my lifestyle and attitude so that I can be an active, healthy woman who is proud of my life and choices. I want to be a positive role model for those around me, and I want to be a model of positive body image for my students and hopefully, my future children.

I am hoping to get myself into the "healthy BMI" range, by losing 40 pounds in the next 5 months. (Beginning July 1st, ending December 1st)

I have been having hip problems that have inhibited me from running, but hopefully by visiting a specialist, practicing yoga, and working on my core and back muscles, I will be running a 5k by Thanksgiving.

My Program:
I am scheduling my exercise into my calendar as appointments, giving myself the same consideration I give to others.

I am enlisting the help of friends and making choices that will put me among those with healthy lifestyles.

I am aiming to get 8 hours of sleep a night, drink 8 glasses of water a day, and track daily.

Personal Information:
I'm 23 years old, recently home from a nine month stay in Ireland as a nanny! It was a wonderful experience and allowed me to meet people who were truly living life to their most active and their fullest.

As I was taking care of three children full time, I realized who I want to be as a parent. I want to be a mentally and physically strong woman who has the energy to be an active parent.

    I see that you joined the Living Binge Free team awhile back. A very belated welcome ! We concentrate more on learning to eat sanely in all situations with all foods rather than directly on weight loss. Over time, we can learn to be happy with and even prefer lot less manufactured food and less food in general. I've put in over 4 years and lost about 40 lbs., about 21% of my former weight.
