Survivor - Heart Attack


I had a heart attack March 3, 2007. After surviving the shock of this event, I began to exercise and get myself in shape. To date, I've lost 40 pounds and hope to lose 40 more.

My Goals:
Goal#1: Embrace the horror - The Dr. says I need to change my diet, so I now LOVE salads. OK, this is gonna be tough...
Goal#2: Get through the Winter - Most of my exercise is outside, and because of my heart condition I can't do it in the cold weather of an Indiana Winter.
Goal#3: Get on the bike and ride - I will do the RAIN this year!

    Thanks for the comments and the good wishes. I am really looking forward to tomorrow and have already started looking around for the next ride. DH wants me to stop that and enjoy tomorrow. I think he's very clever! Tomorrow is my dessert. Love that idea!

    i would say it is not the fear of the bike itself but really the fear of falling. i have very bad eyesight limited side vision, plus irregular heart beats and a pacemaker that really shouldnt be jarred. but that wont stop me just the fear that the bike is too much and i may fall thanks for the help
