Welcome to my page. My name is Jackie. I check in daily mostly mornings... while drinking my coffee I enjoy reading blogs, friend feed & healthy articles. My healthy lifestyle journey isn't about a weight goal although I could loose a few pounds which it might happen ...I'm more focused on being as healthy as I can be and not so focused on the number on the scale. I do weigh in once a week but to measure my success I use a tape measure instead of the scale.... inches lost, the way my clothes fit tells me more about how I'm doing with my workouts and food choices.

My Goals:
Keep the pounds off.

Keep my blood pressure, cholesterol, sugar & sodium levels where they should be.

Continue being as healthy as I can be.

Write in my journal everyday.

My Program:
10,000 steps or more a day.

Drink plenty of water.

Portion control.

Eat more veggies less meat.

Continue cooking homemade meals and making my own salad dressings.

Exercise - long walks, yoga, stationary bike, swimming, Walk Away the Pounds DVDs with Leslie Sansone.

Personal Information:
Happily married 30 plus years, mother of two grown boys & a cat owner. I enjoy family time, board games, coloring, knitting, coffee & Spark in the morning, hot tea with a book in the afternoon, country music, long walks on the beach, visiting my local library, book sales, yoga outside on the patio with the sunshine, cooking favorite recipes & trying new ones, baking bread & homemade sweet treats, browsing antique shops, bargain shopping, pool time, baseball,road trips, capturing moments with my camera.
