Hi, I'm Jane. I have had a successful year. I started Keto on 1/23/18 and have lost 42 lbs. I am off diabetes medication and my arthritis pain is virtually gone. I'm in the process of losing the last 20 lbs or so to finally reach my goal weight. I wrote this blog post 6 years ago. I am talking about the Ladies room line at BB's bbq. I'm putting it here to remind me!:

" Last night there were 5 of us. One lady had been partying and was feeling very fine! She was going on about how beautiful we all were and how much more beautiful we would be with her red lipstick on. "All women are beautiful in red lipstick!" She really was beautiful in hers. She told us all that we can only live life once and that too many women go through life holding on to the handrail!! Let go!! By the end we were all waving our arms in the air like we were on a roller coaster and letting go of that handrail!!
I keep thinking about that moment. I definitely hold on to the handrail! I hold on to the fat, I hold on to the anxiety, I hold on to the fear.
I'm letting go of the handrail. I'm living my life. I have a stranger in the ladies room line to thank for opening my eyes and teaching me to let go and wear some red lipstick once in awhile!! "
