Hello! I'm a 26 year old stay at home mom living in North Carolina. I've struggled with weight all my life. Unfortunately it seems every time I start doing well with my weight loss I hit a road block. Usually in the form of surgery. I'm hoping I've seen the last of that.

I have two beautiful girls, ages 3 and 5. I also have a wonderful husband who is in the Army. He's been deployed to Iraq twice already. I usually do well with my weight while he's deployed but when he comes home I spoil him with good food and all the dessert foods he wants and I end up putting pounds back on in the process.

We just decided to take some of our saved money and go on a cruise this summer. We sail on June 14th. I'm excited about going on the cruise but I'm also excited to gave something to motivate my weight loss. I want to work really hard and loose as much weight as possible before the cruise. This Saturday is March 1st which means I have 15 weeks to get in better shape for the cruise. Wish me luck!

My short term goal is to lose 30 pounds between March 1st and June 14th.

I'm watching what I eat, recording my food on Spark and I'm working out at the gym and at home.

I was born in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. I've lived in Orlando and Live Oak Florida as well. I spent 3 years in Germany which I loved! In addition to taking care of my husband and children I'm a dedicated volunteer with three organizations and I'm a full time college student at Kaplan University.
