I'm really determined to loose some serious weight and thus be a better Husband, Dad, Grandad, Brother, Friend, and Cyclist. To accomplish this, I'm gonna rely on my trusty bicycle as my primary exercise vehicle and my family and friends for moral support. Of course, no weight loss plan is complete without stressing healthy eating. Together, we can't possibly lose. Alberto Contador get out of my way!!

My Goals:
Loose 45lbs by March 31, 2016.
Be a great Dad, granddad, brother, friend and husband.
Love life.
Don't take many things for granted.


My Program:
Establish a short-term weight goal and adjust as I meet that goal, keeping the overall goal always in mind.
Bike 6X weekly. Work on bike speed and climbing. Bike smart , alternating hard and easy days/weeks. Lift weights 5X weekly maintaining a challenging workout program that works the total body.
Eat healthy.



Personal Information:
I was born in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, but grew up in New York City. Spent 27 years in the US Army and retired. Traveled extensively with the "Green Berets". Am currently totally retired and enjoying my daily bike rides/resistance workouts and Puppy agility training. Consider myself lucky to be married to the most wonderful person in the world. Cindi's my best friend. Above all else, she is a fitness nut who competes in 5 and 10K races. She's currently employed by Marriott Hotels. One of our sons (Eric) is a cool 22 year old who is a Junior at the University of North Texas, where he's majoring in Electrical Engineering. Our other son (Will) is a policeman and winner of Austin PD's coveted "Top Gun" competition four straight years. He served with the SWAT Team 6+ years. Lastly, our 3d son (Chris) is a sports encyclopedia who is currently a professional soccer referee and a fitness nut.


Other Information:
I love to cycle and help my dog become the agility Champion of the world (LOL).
Dislike whining or whiners.
Love my family, my friends, my dogs, my cat, my Spark Buddies, and life.
