Just Do It!
I am owning up to the Nike phrase "just do it!" I have gained weight over the past several years despite being fairly active, and now am motivated to lose it all so I can feel great in my clothes, confident in a bathing suit and more fit and healthy in general. I have a sweet wonderful husband who is "sparking" with me and I am a stay at home mom to 4 amazing children who keep me very busy! My focus is on my nutrition, keeping stress under control with a positive attitude and my faith in ...
I am owning up to the Nike phrase "just do it!" I have gained weight over the past several years despite being fairly active, and now am motivated to lose it all so I can feel great in my clothes, confident in a bathing suit and more fit and healthy in general. I have a sweet wonderful husband who is "sparking" with me and I am a stay at home mom to 4 amazing children who keep me very busy! My focus is on my nutrition, keeping stress under control with a positive attitude and my faith in God, getting enough sleep, and improving my strength and cardio fitness. I am training for a half marathon, and the structured program tells me exactly what to run and when, which helps alot, and I love playing tennis several times a week as well. I am looking forward to pulling out my skinny jeans and having them fit well again, and also to buying a new bikini for the summer once I reach my final goal.

Dallas Rock & Roll Half
3/27/11 :2:06:42... not bad for running sick that day!
Fort Worth Zooo 10K
4/16/11: Ran this with my 10 year old daughter- her 1st 5K!
My Program:
LOTS of running, tennis, yoga, and light strength training.
I am cooking more and eating out less and tracking my meals daily.
