I had my first daughter in 2014 and quit a no-good job. The bad job and pregnancy combined have left me with 50 pounds to lose. So, this year its all about getting back to the best version of me!

Fitness Minutes: 1,445

My Goals:
To lose 50 pounds in 2015 by eating smarter and continuing to play in the great outdoors.

To feel light and fit.

To be able to do 20 real push ups!

To open up my chest, shoulders, and hips with yoga and stretching, and to be able to do handstands and back-bends without injuring myself.


My Program:
I am 2 months post-partum, so right now I am taking it pretty easy. In general, I'm keeping track of food intake and striving to achieve the right balance of carbs, fat and protein. I am nursing, so I am eating highly nutritious food and getting plenty of it!

As for exercise, I am walking several times a week with my dog and baby. My goal is three times a week to do a gentle cross-country ski or bike ride. (Normally I am an expert at both of these, so mellower versions are a good way for me to get back out there for mental and physical health).

For strength, I will incorporate the regular strength routine that I was doing before I got pregnant.

I am going to start seeing a physical therapist / trainer to strengthen my core.

Lastly, I will try new techniques for well-being like regular massage and yoga.



Personal Information:
I love hiking, skiing, mountain biking, and dirt road/gravel biking. I've got a bike trailer and a hiking backpack for the new babe, and we're ready to hit the trails once the warm weather is here!
