So today and for the year of 2015, I am going to try something new. I am going to try to go slow. I am going to try to slowdown and make SMALL goals and give myself plenty of time to reach those goals and then to maintain that weight until the next SMALL goal window begins. For instants, I figure if I take all of January and February to lose 10 pounds and I do that 6 times through out the year by the end of the year I will have lost 60 pounds. So the long term goal is 60 pounds but I am not going to look at that long term goal because it is too overwhelming. It seems too hard and to far off to achieve. I feel like in a two month period I can lose 10 lbs. It breaks down to 5 lbs a month that is 1.25 lbs a week. I can do that. I will blog each week as I am able with my journey. Won't you come with me along my journey?

My Goals:
My current weight is 195. My short term goal is to lose 10 lbs. in 2 month from January to February 2015. Then I will begin again for the next 2 months. After doing that 6 times for 12 months throughout the year of 2015 I should lose 60 lbs.

First 10 lbs
Reward: A Movie Night with my daughters

Second 10 lbs
Reward: A day with the boys (son, sons-in-law)

Third 10 lbs
Reward: A Date w/Husband

Forth 10 lbs
Reward: A trip to the zoo with Grandbabies

Fifth 10 lbs
Reward: A New Journal

Sixth 10 lbs
An entirely NEW outfit NOT from Goodwill but from a real store that sells brand new items.

For each week I do everything I am supposed to do I will get call my friend Tonya, because I feel like I should get a reward for being consistent even if I am not losing weight.

My Program:
AND here is how I am going to accomplish the above goals.


1) Do my daily Devos
2) Pray daily for family, friends, & country.
3) Track my food!
4) Track my Gazelle 5 Minutes AM & PM!
5) Do Exercise Routine!

Personal Information:
I am from Ohio.
I am going to change my attitude and my body!

I am an awesome person and worthy of my own self-respect.

I will not be negative towards myself or sabotage my own weigh loss goals anymore!

Other Information:
I love animal movies like "Marley & Me."

I listen to all kinds of music including: Country, Gospel & Contemporary Christian, Opera (especially Phantom).

I love musicals like The Sound of Music, the King and I, Carousel, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.

I love to read! I also quilt.
