    Oh, please don't be jealous, you have to work really hard all your life and make a ton of sacrifices to do this when you retire. It's like a money diet. Good luck with your ketone diet. Haven't a clue what it is.

    Have you ever heard that -- to feel better when you don't even feel like smiling -- you should actually SMILE? And then you actually start to REALLY feel better? It's been proven true! You smile when you are happy and you've done so for so long that there is a link established between your smile muscles and your brain that produces more "happy" hormones... got it? It is both psychological and physical reinforcement. So you can actually make yourself feel better by pasting a fake smile onto your face -- which activates the brain to produce those "happy" hormones when the brain notices the smile muscles are being used.

    The mental synapses that you create by using your brain get stronger and stronger through repetition. It's like "falling into a rut" or a habit. You walk the same path over and over? You drive home the same way every day? You find that you do it automatically, without thinking. You can create your habits intentionally (as well an unintentionally)!

    You can do the same thing consciously with exercise.
    Exercise. Note how good you feel when you do feel it and consciously link it to the fact that you exercised. Repeat endlessly. Eventually, you'll come to anticipate exercise because you KNOW you are going to feel better!

    Yes, BFRANZ, it is quicker and easier to start with a workout that you enjoy anyway.... but if you are having trouble sticking with it, you can make it easier on yourself to do so by rewarding yourself consistently with the thought that it makes you feel good!
