I've been "officially" overweight since about 10 years of age, so it's hard for me to imagine myself thinner.

While I've never been into fad diets, I've never been able to successfully change my weight or my lifestyle either. I recently found SparkPeople and am excited to make changes one step at a time...!

My Goals:
First goal, to lose 10 pounds by January 1st, 2009.

My Program:
Planning weekly menus and tracking my calorie intake each day.

Interval workouts MWF, and strength training on TuThSa.

Personal Information:
I'm a Southern California native, which I suppose has made me more self-conscious about my appearance. I've always been confident in my intellectual abilities, but it took a long time for me to learn that a woman can be attractive without being supermodel thin.

My goal is to become healthy and fit. I love to read and spend time out shopping or having lunch with friends, but I hope to add new, more active hobbies.
