I've struggled with my weight for most of my adult life and for every time I've lost weight, I've gained it back and then some. I'm afraid I've ruined my metabolism so I am focused now on just living a healthy lifestyle- eating right and exercising. I track here on SparkPeople so I can monitor my progress. Would I like to be slender? You bet! More importantly, I want to be strong and healthy.

I started this journey on March 1, 2017 at 212 pounds. My first goal is to reach 175 pounds by my 54th birthday on October 26th. I will then focus on going from 175 to 150 and I think that should be fine!
