My name is Lauren. I'm 27 years old -- and I live in good ol' New Jersey! I've always enjoying being "on track", eating healthy, getting in my workouts -- but there have been certain times when events in life knock me off of my game! Moving in with my boyfriend (which has now been almost a year and half ago) has been my hitch along the way. We have SO much fun together - trying new restaurants, drinking wine, staying up late. Sounds HORRIBLE, right?! :) It's actually pretty fabulous -- but I've decided to take control of my health and BALANCE it all. As my good friend, Juli, says -- it's all about balance. It's not all or nothing.

Sparking and blogging are my keys to getting healthy! I plan to do the following:

1. Blog each week
2. Weigh-in Mondays and Fridays
3. My BMR is 1446 x1.2 = 1735. I plan to eat between 1300-1400 cals/day.
4. three-four workouts/week (at 500 cals/workout each)
5. CHUG water

Goal: to be completed by Friday, May 25th!
Starting weight = 142.
Reasonable, attainable, LIVABLE goal = 134.

That's EIGHT pounds in EIGHT weeks! It's go time! :)

*I'd like to maintain between 130-126 pounds.


My Program:
Will continue with cardio (spin, elliptical), but want to pick up the DVDs again (30 Day Shred, other JM videos, Turbo Jam) - they were so helpful in my weight loss journey!

The key for me is my nutrition. No straying from my plan - I find, if I stray, it spirals out of control. I love being in control of my diet!
