First, I agree with PopeyeTheTurtle: you are a Spark Motivator. I'm looking forward to following you into the maintenance phase, and your comment on how we still fluctuate is educational.
Second, FlightAware. Yes, I know it. I use it to follow DH's plane when I know he is coming home, and my flight instructor used it once after an instrument flight lesson to show how I wobbled all over the place while trying desperately to trust my instruments and maintain straight and level flight. Prolly why I never went for that instrument rating, LOL. Anyway, DH says FlightAware is likely receiving the same feed "flow control" receives, but on a delay for security purposes. Have you ever had your son call while Flight Aware says his plane is still 1600 feet off the ground? That's the delay to keep the baddies from knowing exactly where a plane is. And "flow control" is the FAA Air Traffic Control System Command Center in Vint Hill, Virginia. Wonderful facility co-located with the Potomac Terminal Radar Approach Control (TRACON) facility that transitions flights between high-level cruise flight and the terminal area, at least in the DC area. There are major TRACONs all across the country and 21 Air Route Traffic Control Centers that handle the en route (cruise) segments. Sorry if you already knew all this or if it was more than you wanted to know. :-D 2866 days ago

An absolutely astonishing transformation! You definitely should qualify as a Spark Motivator.
Commenting not as a dirty old man (my wife of 40 years doesn't let me get by with that stuff - and personally I find myself talking to younger guys than me who make inappropriate comments) lady, you look MAHV-ALOUS!
To top it all off, you live close to the Queen of the Oceans, the Pacific. She's a grand lady and I'm jealous. 2868 days ago
