DLBEASYRIDER
Hi Brianne, David here aka DLBeasyrider! Saw your comment on my breakfast post, I don't consider myself a biker, more of a motorcycle enthusiast! Don't get me wrong I don't mind being called a biker, they are great and wonderful people as we all can be if we put forth the effort to be humble and kind. I got my Harley 1200 Sportster XL Custom, about three years after I surrendered my last battle with alcohol, I am a recovering alcoholic, been sober nine years.I always wanted a motorcycle, but alcohol always stood in the way, I was too fearful of trying new things before getting sober, probably a good thing, I would have killed myself riding drunk, I loved to drink and drive. I've been riding now for about 6 years, I go every chance I get. There is know way to explain the adrenaline rush and joy I get from hopping on Serenity (that's what I named her) and taking off! I am currently a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous, through this program I have had a spiritual awakening, I have found a higher power whom I choose to call God, thru God all things are possible. Today I am living the dream, felt like sharing my experience , strength and hope with someone, hope life is treating you kind. If possible, get yourself an 883 or 1200 cc Sportster, you will not regret it! I haven't had a drink today and I'm not mad about it! P.S. Sparkpeople is the 2nd best thing that happened to me, AA was the first! 170 days ago
