Hi...my real name is TIna...I am a 49 year old mother of 2 young people!
I have spent many years fighting depression and mood swings...fighting to be the best mom I could be ...while secretly self destructing with food and lack of exercise.I finally get it....I finally get that only I can change the things I dont like...I am the only one who can make or break this thing called my life....its been a great life but I always seemed to be wanting for more...more love ..more understanding...more money...more stuff...and ultimately I found more food!

I have to want to be a better me....and I DO!
I am truly believing now that I can and will finally do it this time....I have never felt this much support in all of my life...Spark people is awesome...I have made new(internet) friends and some new friends in general....every time I feel a little bit weak...I come on here and talk to people....it helps more than you will ever know....thanks to al of you ....my new spark family....it is gradually changing my life ...much for the better!

I found this info about drinking enough water and want to post it here for anyone to see There are so many aches and pains that most people attribute to being old, sick or tired, when in all actuality, it’s probably just a case of dehydration. Even a lack of concentration and focus can be attributed to a lack of water. It only makes sense, considering our brains are made up of 90% water. Those nagging headaches we often get, that most people shrug off as part of life or the common cold can also just be a case of dehydration. What about those painful joints that we complain about? Water works as a lubricant – the two opposing surfaces (for example, the femur and the tibia at the knee) will glide freely and minimize friction damage, causing less pain. My biggest goal is to learn to live healthy because no matter how much weight I loose or dont loose because I just need to be healthy.

Right now I am still learning how to use this program...I am starting with the water intake and obviously needing to start with some excersise...I am following the reccommended ideas on here !
