Introduction Text Hello. My name is Brenda. I'm from Missouri. Spring has sprung! Yay! I will be sharing lots of flower pictures. They're my babies now. My boys are grown and won't be long until the youngest is gone. It's time for me to take care of me. I'm driven to make this weight loss thing happen this time. I work as an Operations Manager for a local WISP. I work on Saturdays, pt, for a local veterinarian. I really don't consider it work, it's more like volunteering. I love working with the animals and praying over them. Sometimes I get it in my head I can lay my hands on them and God will heal them. It hasn't happened yet and I don't know why I have that feeling, but I know I comfort them. The girls at the clinic tease me. They say, "It ain't Saturday if Brenda's not crying." When I have to hold someone's baby for blood draw or anything I view as scary or painful, I hum to them or sing and crocodile tears run down my face. It's like I feel their energy. I really think those other girls think I'm crazy. But I know I would like to think someone would treat my baby that way. I had a 13 y.o. white pekingese, Li'l Bit, recently passed. 1/20/20 I have 10 y.o. deerhead chihuahua, Rascal and a 2 y.o. terrier mix, Mama Dog. My 19 year old son, has a 6 y.o. english bulldog that lives with him in my basement. Her name is Lola. I love gardening. I have grown vegetables for many years. And got into flower gardening in the last 6 years or so. I had my own business for a time gardening with elderly ladies who couldn't do everything for themselves any more. I loved it. Photography is another passion of mine. I also have worked as a professional portrait photographer, doing senior portraits, family portraits, maternity portraits, pet portraits and wedding photography. Grew up on a farm. Been around farming pretty much all my life. Bought a house 2 1/2 years ago in my hometown. It's weird living in town and having neighbors so close. I live in one of the oldest neighborhoods in town. It's a great neighborhood. I have 5 lots. I love watching my son and his friends play football in the yard or the neighbor kids fly their drones over here. LOVE those KANSAS CITY CHIEFS your LIV Superbowl Champions!!! GO CHIEFS!!!!!! AFC CHAMPIONS 2019! ~Spark On!~

There was a time when I walked 4 miles every morning before work. I would like to get back to a walking regimen. I enjoyed it so much and I know what benefits await.

Your spirit....as this journey is not only about your body and weight loss but the changes with your mind and soul too! 8, Get moving !! ... Find ways to incorporate exercise into your daily routine. Sneak in as much exercise as possible!

I am a 58 yo, single, female professional. I have 2 grown young men that call me mom. And 2 little dogs that bark me master. I bought a new home and started a new career 2 and 3 years ago respectively.

I enjoy gardening, photography, writing and just being in the moment.
