This is my dog, Sammy. He passed away on July 29, 2013. He was blind, deaf, and my heart.

Hey good morning! Happy Friday to you!
Thanks for the tips on DC. I really should be investigating further at the moment. The rules and methods.
I have my favorites I can never miss while there...the Botanical Gardens, the 2 big art museums and the gallery over by the Arena. And the Natural History Museum.
Funny, what you said about the Air and Space Museum. emoticon ALPA had a dinner and evening for us there, where it was open to just us. Wandering around at leisure and watching the IMAX movie about airplanes. I mean, with a massive group of pilots and their spouses, in an airplane museum.... this is like dream stuff. emoticon Still geeking out hard after all these years. I want to see the one you told me about, though! I’ve heard of it.
I would also like to go the Black History Museum, and see all of the outdoor memorials from end to end. My personal favorite is the Korean War Memorial. I hope the weather is nice while we are there.
I know the area where you work. Several of the ALPA BOD’s have been at the Washington Hilton in Dupont Circle. (I have a great pic of me giving trump and melanias portraits the bird, in the presidents portrait hallway..lol).
I have a favorite restaurant there...La Tomate. I love it so much, I will eat there several days in a row for lunch. Have you been??
I was there the week of the Gay Pride Parade AND the Hockey team’s big celebration for winning the Stanley Cup at the same time. It was WILD, so so so many people. I spent my day in the art galleries that day, ALL day, as a reprieve from the raucous crowds.
Hey, I’d like to do a scenic hike/walk while there....any trails or parks we can investigate within a reasonable distance?
    Keep the tips coming, Please!
I will be there June 5-11th. If you are going to be free anytime in there for a coffee? Would love to meet!
    Have a great weekend!

Thank you for the visit!! How are you doing?
I will be in DC for my husband’s work. My daughters and I want to be tourists. Are the museums and galleries open now? Any mandates? We are all fully vaccinated.
Thank you for any tips you can pass on for the area!
    Maybe we can meet up!!
    Hugs!

Stopping by to say hello! I hope all is going well. I hope your days have been void of alcohol and chips. Every day is a new day.
I find that my junk-filled binges come in waves. Everything is going smooth at moment.
    We’ve got this.
    Have a great weekend!
    Hugs!
