Welcome to my page! My desire is to be healthier for my future and to bring glory to the LORD God Who made me. I have been working on my weight since the age of thirteen when the other girls resembled Twiggy, and I had a different body and bone structure. For years I felt I was overweight in comparison. I now realize that I was a healthy weight for my height and frame, but unfortunately, I didn't realize it at the time.

Fast forward to my marriage of 21 years. I have added some pounds after the birth of my son 19 years ago and started my SparkPeople journey on July 10, 2008. The holiday seasons and fast food are my downfall because I really do like food. I am starting again after gaining back all of the 29 pounds I had lost. I am officially tired of bouncing up an down and want to get to the point where I am maintaining my weight, not moaning over it. I also have PCOS, and this makes losing weight even more of a challenge. This truly is a journey I endeavor to take, and you are welcome to join the ride.

    Are you interested in a Challenge?

    The Biggest Loser goes for 10 weeks. It consists of 10 teams participating in weekly Fitness and Nutrition challenges. The Spring challenge will be getting started the beginning of March. It consists of fitness and nutrition challenges that are often in a form of a game. If for some reason you cannot do a challenge then they are modified to meet your needs. Often we do the challenge in a game form, we have BINGO and TIC TAC TOE or seasonally themed. For Winter we had Help Santa Fill His Sleigh, Run Rudolf Run and Super Bowl. If you decide this might be for you you can leave your name on the waitlist for the Spring challenge.
