Try having a small sweet once a day for your sweet tooth. I started off letting myself have a SMALL treat every day for a month or so until the big cravings stopped. Then I distracted myself when I had cravings and the craving usually went away. After 2 months or so I found myself not even craving the things that used to drive me crazy. I stayed within my calorie count everday and made sure I ate lots of fruit, veggies and a protein. It worked for me and now I don't even think or am tempted by "forbidden" foods. If I do have an occasional craving I let myself have a small amount of that food. It can work! emoticon
