I've been on and off various fitness routines since I was a teenager. I'm not technically overweight, but I'm definitely not trim and muscular like I want to be.

Last year I was the closest I have ever been to my goals. My adductors (inner thigh) were starting to show and I saw upper ab definition. It was amazing. I was starting to actually like my body for the first time in my life.

Unfortunately, I got sidetracked and after a series of those rascally and seemingly unpreventable unplanned life events, I gained 10 pounds and lost a lot of muscle. I didn't work out regularly for almost six months.

No more! I'm ready to gear back up and carve my flabby form into shape.

I'm really excited about SparkPeople. I think it will give me the tools and motivation to succeed.

My Goals:
I want to have the body of an athlete. I want be muscular, flexible and have high aerobic endurance. Check out those two ladies on the left. They're my heroes.

My Program:
Even though I joined a long time ago, I'm just starting up with SparkPeople and I haven't decided on the specifics of my fitness program, but I will build up to at least an hour a day six days a week. (3/28/07)

Personal Information:
I'm Julia, from Rockville, Maryland. I just turned 30 last fall (*gulp*). I've been working on getting fit for a while, and I'm still working on it. I am looking forward to making this the best year of my life.

Other Information:
I love all kinds of activities: running, yoga, snowboarding, hiking, cycling, camping.

My bf loves to be active and is a great encouragement. He definitely keeps me on my toes. ;-)

    Thanks for stopping by my page! We definitely have the same goals - I want to have a toned, defined, athletic body. This last five pounds I have is pure flab...can't WAIT to see the muscle underneath!
