SEPT 2009-Hello I am a 31 year old mother of 3. I have a lot of weight to lose and I am determined to lose every last inch. I came across Sparkpeople completely accidentally and I have to say...."This is exactly what everyone needs to help motivate them!" I was always very athletic and in great shape. Then, I had my babies. Prepregnancy weight was 130 pounds. I gained 42 pounds with my son, 17 pounds with my first daughter and 30 with my other daughter. I found it extremely hard to lose this extra 100 pounds I put on, but one day I told myself, "You have to do this, get serious and take the time you need to get healthy!" All you mother's out there know what I mean. We are the constantly on the go for everyone else. ( kids, husband and other family members) I decided to be a little selfish, which is completely out of character for me, and track my food intake and take time to exercise. Thus far I have lost 40 pounds. Highest weight was 229. I thought about surgery and have tried every diet known to man before I realized that I needed to REALLY be ready to do this and change my lifestyle. Hard work and sparkpeople has given me my life back.

JUN 2011- Time to refocus! I had lost almost 40 pounds and then over the last few months got a little lazy with my exercise and tracking so I am starting anew. For Christmas I got a Bodybugg that really shows me what I actually burn every day in order to reach my goal. I am hoping to stay motivated the whole year through and my goal is to lose 50 pounds by Christmas 2011. I need all the support I can get in achieving this goal but I have faith! I know I can do it if I just keep focused and stop sabotaging my efforts.

Cardio~30-60 min./6 days a week

-Just Dance

Strength~ 6 days a week for 20-40 minutes

Combined goal~120 min./daily

I am a married mother of 3. With an extremely busy schedule! I watch kids from 7a.m. to 4p.m., I am a FT college student and run a small business.
