Hello! I am a 36-year-old mother of two. Two years ago I finally made the committment to put myself first and get healthy! I started off by joining a gym but didn't see much improvement. That's when I tackled my diet. I have lost almost 60 lbs and I have 10 more to go to get to my original goal weight.

I have been stuck at 155 lbs. for over a year. I just recently recommitted myself to doing the work in diet and exercise needed to hopefully reach my goal - once and for all!

My Goals:
I want to be down under a size 10 and weigh less than 150 lbs. I would like to be able to walk up three flights of stairs without panting and not be ashamed of myself when I go try on swimsuits.

My Program:
I completed a 12 week Body for Life program called Changes that Last a Lifetime. I signed up for a 12 week walking program called Just Move sponsored by the American Heart Association too but I never actually did anything.

Personal Information:
I was skinny my whole life until after I got married and became a state employee. My jobs have been sedentary and I stopped being very physically active even in my free time. Add to that two kids and the fact that my mother - who I adored - passed away and it's a recipe for an unhealthy lifestyle: physically, emotionally and spirtually. On the one year anniversary of my mom's passing (also my 33rd birthday) I made the committment to stop doing this to myself and my family and get control over my life again.
That was 2 years ago. It's been a struggle but I have lost 60 lbs. I have a ways to go but I am determined to make it!

Other Information:
I love crafts including scrapping and cross-stitching. I enjoy gardening, reading books and playing computer games. I am always more successful when I can be competitive and rely on my friends for support when I am having difficult times.
