This is it. Last time I am going to try to lose weight. This is my year to finally start this journey to the new healthier me and not give up after a month or so. The last several years have been rough and stressful on me but things are finally starting to turn around. I am back in Houston now....I lived here for a short while last year but left for Livingston to stay with my parents from August until March of this year. I am currently unemployed with no car so I have NO excuses to not focus on me now and make poor decisions. My apartment complex has a nice little fitness center within a short walking distance and I have a couple of dvds I like to work out to. No more of saying I am too tired to work out or too tired to cook and run thru drive thru for the millionth time. I know that my weight is not going to shed over night so it will take time to lose what weight I have put on. I am learning to take things 1 day at at time and not getting depressed when I weigh in and the scale doesn't show decrease. I love SparkPeople because it helps me to stay motivated and keep a new and better perspective on things.

I am done with:
-being the fat girl
-being a couch potato
-making excuses
-not being happy
-being unhealthy
-not liking who I see in the mirror
-not having a lot of energy
-not having a lot of confidence
-being single because I am unhealthy and overweight
-being out of breath going up the stairs esp to my apt
-all negativity
-not loving myself enough to take care of it

My Goals:
1.Lose 70 lbs
2 Drop from size 20/22 to 12/14
3.Have wayyyy more energy
4.Sleep better at night

My Program:
I was counting calories but I found that food/calorie intake was consuming my every thought so instead I am going to just eat healthy and make healthier choices. Also becoming consistent with working out and staying involved on SP. The most important aspect of my program is just learning to trust God and seek His guidance on what is best for my own body to be healthy and lose the weight.
