Fitness Minutes: 22,094

My Goals:
*Find balance with work, family, and my own physical, mental, and emotional needs.

*Recognize and appreciate the good things in my life.

*Be happy.


My Program:
*Eat REAL food as needed, without obsessing over it.

*Take a walk when the weather's nice.

*Get a good night's sleep every night.

*Realize what a lucky person I am every day. I have a wonderful husband, a loving family, a job I love, enough money to live without worry, and I like myself.



Personal Information:
I live away from home in a commuter apartment during the week, walk (only about 1/2 mile) to work, and work 12 hour days at a desk job. I have little time to cook and have to eat out (meetings) ALL the time. It's a challenge to keep things in check, but now that I feel settled into my job I am ready to take off the 8 pounds that I gained since I started and about 60 more! lol


Other Information:
I set a goal of 120 to see if I can get into my normal BMI range. I don't know if that's possible, but I seem to have a different mindset these days - food isn't controlling me - so we'll see what happens.

I was just on this website with a macros calculator for "most efficient weight loss". I don't know what I think about this, and I am a carb-lover, but the calculations don't seem super insane. I could still eat bread lol.
1441 calories (in my spark range of 1200-1550)
108 g Protein (30%)
69 g Fat (43%)
97 g Carbs (27%)
28 g Fiber
So it differs from spark in that it shifts calories from carbs to fat. I may give this a try. Not sure....

    The Biggest Loser goes for 10 weeks. It consists of 10 teams participating in weekly Fitness and Nutrition challenges. The Spring challenge will be getting started the beginning of March.
