Kicking my Sugar Addiction


I'm about to turn 27 and I'm sick of being overweight.

I wasn't always fat, I was lucky growing up. I was so active that I could eat whatever I wanted and not gain a pound. Then, in 2002 I moved to Colorado to be closer to my boyfriend (now husband). The pounds QUICKLY piled on, and by our wedding in 2004 I was 265+.

Since then, it's been a roller coaster. In 2007 I lost 50 pounds before I got pregnant, and gained 50 back. Then I quickly lost 40 and sat around 210 ...

Since then, it's been a roller coaster. In 2007 I lost 50 pounds before I got pregnant, and gained 50 back. Then I quickly lost 40 and sat around 210 for a year. But in late 2009 I gained a lot of it back, and now I'm starting this journey again at 247 pounds.

First goal: 237 lbs

Fitness Minutes: 135

My Goals:
My ultimate weight goal is 145 (102 pounds lost). But for now, I'm just aiming to get to 199!

My main fitness goal is to be able to run a half marathon.

My Program:
 Right now I'm following Sparkpeople's recommendations of 1200-1550 calories per day.

I'm aslo trying to get in at least 30 minutes of cardio every day.


Personal Information:
I am a 27 year old stay at home mom to a beautiful little girl. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 5 1/2 years.

We live in Southern Colorado, where we try to enjoy the mountains every chance we get. (Usually snapping photos with one of my 3 cameras.)
