So here I am, all too common have gained my weight back. I stopped running as often, had a baby, and ate way too much junk. Now for the journey back down. I have made some running goals again. I would like to be running a 5 mile race late summer/early fall. The popcorn panic! In between then I have signed up for 4 5k races. I've been eating well for a couple of weeks and have seen a 6 lbs loss. I'm going for slow and steady. Here below is my old intro...I'm not ready to give up that part of myself yet until I have remolded who I am becoming. Hi, I'm asia. I have lost over 70 lbs since January 2008, but I want to become more fit and healthy. My goal is 140lbs. This will be at near the top of my BMI for healthy weight. I'm most concerned with being in good shape and healthy. Since joining SparkPeople, I have become a runner. I'm very happy about this endeavor. It has taken some work, but it has been well worth it. As an added bonus, I have been able to inspire both my sister and a brother in law to start running. In fact, I just ran with my sister on her first half marathon!!! It has been wonderful to have some of the family join me in one of my loves. I'm averaging at 176 or so. My goal is to get this extra weight off and lose the last bit.

My Goals:
I want to be fit. I want to be strong.

I want to be able to do pull ups.

I want to keep running 5K races!!!

I want to be able to do all of a Triathlon (Valpo Tri) by the end of July 2011.
( I completed the TRI INDY on 8/7/11. I did awesome!!)

I want to train for and complete another Marathon. I am looking for the next time and place. (I'm currently training for number 3. I'm on schedule to run Chicago Marathon, however I don't have a bib yet.)

I want to run a sub 30 min 5k. ( I did this once in practice. My fastest race time is 30:58.)

My Program:
So, my goal is to run. I love to run. But to be a better runner, I will cross train some. I am bad with my strength training, to combat this weakness I will attend at least one class a week that focuses on strength.

I am going to eat healthy foods. I will only eat bad foods in moderation. I will focus on getting a well balanced dinner in addition to my well planned breakfasts, snacks, and lunches.

Personal Information:
I live in Northwest Indiana. I'm a professional engineer. I'm married to "B" since 10/06, we've been together since 2000 and are non-traditional college sweethearts (we met online and had a long distance relationship for 3 1/2 years).

Other Information:
I like to knit, sing, and go hiking and camping.

I love running.

I adore music. I am definitely a music buff.
