Introduction Text I would like to get back in shape while I'm still in my early 40s. I am a stay-at-home mom with a 19-year old son, a 10 year old son, and a 7 year old daughter. I live in Southern Arizona where we can play outside all year long. I love to camp, hike, eat and exercise (unfortunately, I've been eating more than exercising). We have 2 guinea pigs, 1 (lovingly uttered) old sea hag dog (14 year old doberman/lab mix), 1 tabby cat, 2 firebellied toads, and lots of goldfish in an outdoor pond. I have recently put in a raised garden complete with corn, green beans, tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet peas and marigolds. The corn and tomatoes are looking a bit weak and sickly but everything else looks really healthy. When the weather gets a bit cooler I will put in lettuce and carrots. Apparently, the best time for veggie gardens in Tucson is in the winter.

I want people to see me and think that I am one seriously ripped chick.

I take a weight training class and step aerobics class Monday through Friday at 5:30 a.m. I have started walking on my weight training days and am up to 6 miles in 1 hour.
