I am a native Arizonan and have lived in Gilbert, Arizona for over 16yrs. I have three awesome boys who are 14, 14 and 16 who also love being active. I have owned and operated a computer company located here in Gilbert for over 15yrs. I have to admit though that my biggest passion is my position as a Fitness Professional at Pure Fitness in Chandler, Arizona. I spend a few hours every week with Liberty Wildlife Foundation where we take in and return birds who have been injured back to the wild so let me know if you find any of our injured or abandoned feathered friends. I love to learn and feel like I am always reading or taking some kind of class. I just need a couple more days in the water to secure my open water scuba certification and I intend to pursue a master diver certification over the next couple years. I love to travel and explore and truly think of everyday as a new adventure. I have always enjoyed cooking and never more since I have learned how to cook HEALTHY! The slower side of me loves movies and I think I have seen almost every movie made over the past 20 years. Basically, I have always believed that passion is the essence of everything we are and do.

My Goals:
I have basically already lost most of the "weight" I needed to so now I am focusing more than ever on functional strength, endurance and agility. I have my sights fixed on doing the Arizona IronMan competition next year!

My Program:
My daily calorie intake is between 1600 and 2000 calories.

Streching and self-myofascial release.

I do strength training on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Almost always a full body circuit with 3 supersets and core.

Cardio is usually a daily activity with an occasional day off. This is simply because I truly love cardio and I am continually mixing it up. A typical week of cardio training could include:
Biking - 10 - 100 miles
Running - 5 - 20 miles
In-line Skating - 10 - 40 miles
Hiking - Hours
Unicycling - 1 - 10 miles
StairMaster - 30 - 60 mins
Circuit Training - 60 mins
Swimming - 60 mins
Snorkeling - Hours
Karate - 60mins

Since I get questions about my user name from time to time... "Arizuma" is very old and was used by the Aztec's to describe all of what is now northern Mexico, New Mexico, Arizona, and part or Southern California. Its strict translation is "silver bearing". I am a native Arizonan and own a computer company named Arizuma Computer Solutions, Inc. If you like history this is a pretty cool link.
