UPDATED: Had another baby on 9/9/11. Baby Boy!

Did a 21 day round of HCG homeopathic drops and lost 14 lbs(thru the holidays no less). WOOT!

Unfortunately over New Years I gained half of that back, and I really didn't need to so that was unfortunate. I was trying the 17 day diet, but unfortunately without the HCG for appetite suppressant I could not maintain the low calories. Not a big shocker there.

Now I'm doing weekly vitamin b12 shots with a daily phentermine pill as an appetite suppresant thru a local medical weight loss center. The 12 week program just happened to be cheaper than another round of HCG so I thought I'd try it out. So far 16 lbs in 6 weeks and no strict diet or requirement for exercise; so easier to manage in my hectic lifestyle. It doesn't leave me to where I'm not eating completely but yes, you eat less and fill up quickly. B12 by injection is far more effective for energy than any other B12 supplement I've taken orally so I will probably maintain this regimen long after I lose the weight.

When I'm within 10-15 lbs of my goal, I will resume my "simple" diet plan I outlined below.

This is all about creating a lifestyle habit and finding a plan that compliments my lifestyle. May not work for you, but trust that there's a plan out there tailor made for you.
Don't give up, keep trying until you hit that sweet spot! :)

MY SIMPLE PLAN:

250 calorie breakfast
70 calorie snack (piece of fruit or veggies)
350 calorie lunch
100 calorie afternoon snack
500 calorie dinner & dessert
--------------------------------
1270 calories a day

Easy enough to follow, remaining consistent is the challenge.
I am figuring I can add in up to 300 calories a day if I workout, but this is a start.

TIPS to help if I am tempted to cheat:
**3 bite rule on every bad food craving.
**1266 is my magic number to stay on "losing" track per Jillian Michael!
**400 calories a meal, aim for 3-4 if I go this route instead of the above, using my handy-dandy 400 calorie book for meal options.

My Goals:
There has been one or two times in my life I felt comfortable enough to wear a bathing suit. NOW is certainly not one of them! I just want to get back within 10 lbs of the "bathing suit okay" aka "thighs not touching while wearing shorts" weight. *smile*


My Program:
Balance and order. That's the name of the game here. I'm not going to slave in the gym, nor will I be a slave to food. I will manage my calories and work out when time permits. That simple.



Personal Information:
Married mother of 4. Web Developer by trade. Raising my college bound son, teenage girl, little girl and baby boy are my first priority, however. Yep, you read that right - quite a range there, eh? I call that "built in daycare"! :)


Other Information:
I enjoy just about any type of music except country.
