For some the year 13 may be unlucky, but for me that number has always been lucky. And i have great plans to get myself going, If by luck i may be able to loose all my weight that is needed this year, Oh wow wouldn't that be great. I have an eye on a fancy mini black dress to knock em dead for Christmas, oh how that would be swell. My motivation is a photo of me in a dress when i was this so called "thin" . I am happy for the person i am, but not the person i am in the dress size, and its about time i shake it off, I too battle with fibromylagia and an inflamed bowels but i need to stop using them as excuses and get on with it. And i heard this is an awesome site to begin with!

My 2013 goals

1) Get that goal weight by new year. Loosing 52 Kg /114.4 lbs for a year i can do that.
2) Have more energy
3) Earn a new wardrobe ( atleast a size 16)
4) Travel
5) Get more tonier, healthier and fitter.
6) Keep at this sparkpeople for a year. If i fall a day, pick up the next day.
7) Study new direction
8) Get a good job
9) Re learn to drive
10) Spark or spice up my love life.

So here i am starting again with BLC round 22. Team Groovy Geckos.

1) I plan to give it 100% GIVE IT A TRY participation! even if i come short of 50% of the max total, i will be glad enough i did try it!
2) Post on the chat board EVERYDAY
3) Get atleast 20 minutes of fitness 6 times a week
4) If i get lost with the challenge or unable to do it with my medical condition, I will not keep it to self but speak to one of the leaders (I know of fault from last round)
5) Plan of making good habits, and try to blog each day (also to catch up from where i last left off)

Here I go! START FOCUS FINISH! I can do this! Go Groovy Geckos!

    I just read this poem & felt it too good not to share on this CHRISTmas Eve! God bless!

    {This is another version of 'Twas The Night Before Christmas' }

    'Twas the night before Jesus came
    and all through the house
    Not a creature was praying,
    Not one in the house.
    Their Bibles were lain on the shelf without care
    In hopes that Jesus would not come there.

    The children were dressing to crawl into bed.
    Not once ever kneeling or bowing a head.
    And Mom in her rocker with baby on her lap
    Was watching the Late Show while I took a nap.

    When out of the East there arose such a clatter.
    I sprang to my feet to see what was the matter.
    Away to the window I flew like a flash,
    Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash!

    When what to my wondering eyes should appear
    But angels proclaiming that Jesus was here.
    With a light like the sun sending forth a bright ray
    I knew in a moment this must be THE DAY!

    The light of His face made me cover my head
    It was Jesus! returning just like He had said.
    And though I possessed worldly wisdom and wealth,
    I cried when I saw Him in spite of myself.

    In the Book of Life which He held in His hand
    Was written the name of every saved man.
    He spoke not a word as He searched for my name;
    When He said "it's not here" my head hung in shame.

    The people whose names had been written with love
    He gathered to take to His Father above.
    With those who were ready He rose without a sound.
    While all the rest were left standing around.

    I fell to my knees, but it was too late;
    I had waited too long and thus sealed my fate.
    I stood and I cried as they rose out of sight;
    Oh, if only I had been ready tonight.

    In the words of this poem the meaning is clear;
    The coming of Jesus is drawing near.
    There's only one life and when comes the last call
    We'll find that the Bible was true after all!

    (by Reverend Edward M. Gionest, Sr.)

    To those who receive Him, He gives the power to become the sons of God, even to those that believe on his name. Repent and declare with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him up from the dead, you will be saved.

    I think everyone should be told they’re beautiful until they believe it - Unknown

    Personally, I feel you cannot hear, "You are beautiful" enough. So I am reminding you today that you truly are beautiful to me. I only ask that you honestly believe it.
